Then they went into overtime and if history is any indication, the Bruins don't do well in overtime.
That held true once again when two minutes into the sudden-death overtime period, the Maple Leafs slipped the puck past Swayman and won game five. The series is now 3-2 in favor of the Bruins
They will play game six tomorrow up in Toronto. Puck drops at 8:00.
My son got to see the Fenway light show last night when the Red Sox beat the Giants 4-0.
Criswell pitched pretty damned good, going five innings, facing 16 batters, giving up two hits, zero runs, struck out four and walked one.
The new guy, Cooper, played first and manged to get 3 plate apperances before getting hit on the wrist by a 94mph fast ball. That took him out of the game but it looks like it isn't damaged. The lineups aren't out as I type this so I don't know if he'll be in the game today.
Thirty games into the season and it looks like the Red Sox are holding their own:
Let's hope they don't have too many more injuries...
Once again, the Chairman of the Federal Reserve System made an announcement and the stock market dropped like a brick.
The DJIA managed to close up but just barely. The S&P and the NASDAQ both closed down.
That guy is killing my retirement account...
I'm going to watch some baseball.
