Holy Crap! They Won!

The Bruins were in Florida to play the Lightning this afternoon and it was an interesting game. The Bruins had a 3-2 lead with only 1.8 seconds left in the game when the Lightning slipped on over Swaymans head into the net to tie it up 3-3. This meant a 5 minute sudden-death OT period.

Then, with only 2 seconds left in the 5 minute period, Pastrnak drove on into the net and the Bruins walked away with a 4-3 win.

That win earned them two points which put them one point ahead of the Lightning and moved them back into the divisional race.

They still need to get their shit together and start winning more than losing but I'll take every win they offer me.

They will play the Lightning again this coming Tuesday but they'll be in Boston. Puck drops at 7:00.

The Steelers are playing the Ravens in the AFC wildcard game this afternoon. The game started at 4:00 and the Ravens are up 7-0 at the end of the first quarter.

It was cookie day here at my house.

Every year, my wife and daughter set aside a day to bake cookies. They usually do it before Christmas but it didn't work out that way this year.

Trust me, I don't care when they make cookies as long as they make cookies.

Right now, I have a load of some pretty damned excellent cookies.
