Then things got interesting and the Patriots started playing some great football.
It was at this point that my wife announced the washing machine was not working so I left the couch, and my tv, to look at the damned washing machine.
By the time I got back to the game, the score was 23-7 in favor of the Patriots.
By the time the game ended, the Patriots had beaten the Browns 32-13. They are no 6-2 on the season and in first place in the AFCEast.
Their next game will be against the Falcons this coming Sunday. It will also be the first day of Eastern Standard Time and I will probably fall asleep on my couch because that damned time change screws me up.
Oh, and no, I was not able to repair the washing machine. It needs a new drain pump or something and that goes beyond my skillset. We will call someone tomorrow to fix it.
Amazingly enough, the Bruins beat the Avalanche 3-2 last night.
They are still in second-to-last place in the Atlantic Division but at least they aren't in last place.
They need a winning streak to pick it back up and start climbing the ladder.
Their next game is tomorrow against the Senators. Puck drops at 7:30 so I shold be able to watch the entire game
