That loss pushes them back to third in the division.
Next up for them is the Canadiens tomorrow evening. Puck drops at 7:00.
My tiredness comes from the fact that I watched the entire Jets / Patriots football game last night and I'm happy to report that the Patriots not only won the game, they moved into first place in the National Football league.
They are off for the next ten days which means those standings will probably change. My hopes are that they change in a way that keeps the Patriots in first place because the first place team maintains home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Yes, I'm already planning on seeing them in the playoffs. They have 9 wins and they are more than halfway through the season. They would have to lose most of their remaining games to drop out of the playoff race.
I seriously doubt they will lose most of their 6 remaining games since they are up against only one team with a winning record. The other 5 all have losing records:
-
Bengals (3-6)
Giants (2-8)
Bills (6-3)
Ravens (4-5)
Jets (2-8)
Dolphins (3-7)
Nope, still haven't bought a ticket...
I'm waiting until it gets over a billion.
And even then, I probably won't by a ticket. I've got better things to waste my money on.
