Still busy.

I'm thinking my work life is going to be busy until at least Christmas. After that, I'm on vacation for the week between Christmas and New Years.

Until then, I'll just keep plugging along.

Again with the busy day.

We're coming up on the end of the year and everyone is pushing to get their pet projects completed ahead of schedule. This tends to put a strain on us enterprise support people and usually makes for longer than usual days.

Just sayin' is all.

The Mass Lottery Megabucks game is up to $6,400,000 and I have a ticket for the next 10 games.

Just sayin' is all.

Very busy day today

I didn't really have much time to peruse the internet and look for news.

What I did find were these few links:

Okay, here's the deal.

I knew that the team that I rooted for would lose the series because that's the way things go for me. No matter who I root for, they lose.

By rooting for the Mets, I effectively dictated the outcome of the series and handed it to the Royals. That, my friends, is not a bad thing.

I like Ned Yost. He strikes me as the kind of guy that will spend his morning making sure the electric fence isn't grounded, his afternoon fine tuning a hunting rifle and his evening at the local victualers enjoying adult beverages with his buddies.

In other words, he reminds me of one of my uncles.

Got this picture from Chris.

Three games to one isn't good.

If the Mets lose tonight, it's all over for them.

Tonight's game is a "win or go home" game. If they win tonight, they head back to Missouri where the Royals will once again have their home field advantage.
