It's Independence Day!

Go be independent...

Congress managed to pass the bill that shall not be named last night and now we wait for The Very Stable Genius to sign it.

I understand that he plans on having a couple of B-2 bombers fly over the White House while he's signing it.

What is that old saying about men with tiny dicks always making self-aggrandizing gestures to compensate for having to use tweezers to take a leak...

The Red Sox beat up the Nationals this morning/afternoon.

The game started at 11:00 this morning and the Red Sox went up 2-0 in the first inning. They remained in the lead throughout the entire game, beating the Nationals 11-2.

Giolito had a stellar outing, facing 29 batters over 7⅔ innings. He gave up 4 hits, 3 walks, 1 earned run and struck out 7.

Wilson came in to close out the 8th inning and then Whitlock closed the game in the ninth.

Buehler has the start tomorrow and I am not going to say I hope he does well. I'm going to say that he really needs to do well because if he doesn't, it might be his last game as a starter.

First pitch is at 4:05.
