On Friday, October 23rd they will host the winner of the ALCS in game 1 of the World Series.
I'm hoping it's the Guardians and not the Rays but no matter who it is, I've decided I'm all-in on the Brewers.
The Rays and the Guardians go at it tonight at 8:00 and I'll probably watch a bit of that game.
Go Brewers!
The Bruins are in Anaheim to take on the Ducks tonight. Puck drops at 10:00pm which means, once again, I will not be watching that game.
I did check the standings today and it looks like the Bruins have jumped into 2nd place in the Atlantic division:
Technically they are in a tie with the Lightning but since they have scored more goals than the Lightning, they take the lead in the standings.
We are under a severe thunderstorm watch right now:
I think the meaning of the word "severe" has changed a lot since I was a kid. I seem to remember John Quill saying "A severe thunderstorm is moving towards Springfield right now!" and 10 minutes later it was like the end of the world with lightning flashing all over the place and hail smashing into the house and cars.
On the other hand, I have my generator ready to go and plenty of fuel just in case the fecal matter strikes the oscillator.
Here are some links:
- She lasted a whole five days. Scaramucci made it 11 days.
- People just love to protest.
- Key WTF line in this story: "It was obvious what was going to happen, wasn't it?"
