Out of those 21 junk mail messages, 14 of them are from some shitty organization calling itself the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC).
Near as I can tell, the NRSC is an organization that might actually be real and is run by a senator named Daines from Montana.
What I'm wondering is if I can sue Daines under the CAN_SPAM act or if the law has a built-in "political messages don't fall under this act" clause...
The FBI released a notice that warned people of a cell phone hack by China. Basically, China was able to penetrate some cell networks and scrape text messages that people were sending.
Here's my take on this: I don't care if some Chinese guy reads my text messages.
For example, here's a text message I sent to my wife that I don't think the Chinese can use against me:
Here's another text exchange between John and myself that I'm betting the Chinese don't give a shit about:
The bottom line, unless you are a member of a government agency dealing with state secrets, you probably don't have anything to worry about either.
