I'm going to make the same assumption my mother always made when I was a teenager: No news is good news.
I said this the other day but it's important so I'll say it again:
-
Tonights Bruins game is on at 10:00. That means I will not be watching it.
The Red Sox have managed to find themselves a starting pitcher.
They traded four youngsters from the farm system to the White Sox for Garrett Crochet.
I have no knowledge of Crochet or his skills but according to all the baseball wizard's on the interwebs, he's pretty good. He's also a lefty so they now have one lefthanded starter in their rotation.
Hopefully they acquire some hitting to replace the loss of O'Neill.
Not to sound like a complete moron but I'm starting to think they might be able to play some decent baseball this coming season.
In other sporting news, Bill Belichick is now the head football coach of the University of North Carolina.
Bill, buddy, you're 72 years old. That's old as hell. Retire, move down south and go fishing all day. Screw this running around on a field yelling at 20 year old kids.
Here are some links:
- This is my new favorite TV commercial.
- I'm guessing Boston got a little bit of rain yesterday.
- This will be bad for us.
- Key line in this story: "Not something you want in your bed."
- Our new state marketing slogan: "Come to Massachusetts - We probably won't run you off the road."
- Key line in this story: "...he subsequently bought his two children some trainers and took a photograph of himself inside the shop as if nothing had happened."
- WTF... It's either boneless or it's not. If it's got bones, it's not boneless.
- Designer Nipples would be a fantastic name for a 1980s all-girl big-hair band.
