The driving force behind World War II was not the nazis, it was the depression and the tariffs imposed by the United States. Rather than provide a path for financial survival to the nations that lost in World War I, the US opted to impose tariffs and reparations on them. This caused them to suffer massive financial losses which forced them to find redress by other means. Those means turned out to be going to war.
Trump is driving the world towards a depression, taunting our traditional allies and jabbing at our foes, all of which could very well lead to the next world war.
