They are not off to a good start

The Red Sox pitchers are all stinking the place up and giving up a lot of home runs. It's possible that the Mariner batters are way better than anyone gives them credit for but I don't think so.

I think the pitchers came off last years World Series win and they are all a little cocky.

Maybe this week will be the wake-up call they need to face the rest of the season.

I am currently watching the game and the Mariners are leading 10-7 in the 6th inning.

While I agonize over this game, you can click on these:

Yay! They won!

Mitchy Two-Bags managed to hit a three run homer in the ninth to give them a one run lead. Matt Barnes managed to shut down the side and the Red Sox won 7-6.

And for the record, no, I did not watch the game. It started at 10:00 and I was sound asleep well before then.

Tonights game starts at 9:00 so I'm hoping to watch a couple of innings before nodding off. We'll just have to see how it goes.

No one told me we were going to have a hurricane today. Okay, maybe not a hurricane but still, we had 30+ mph wind gusts. It sure made it difficult to do yard work.

There is nothing more frustrating that raking in the wind.

Well, that sucked.

Chris Sale did not have a good day. The Mariners hit a lot of baseballs out of that park and in the end, the Red Sox lost 12-4.

Not a good start to the season but there are 161 games left to play.

And you can bet that I will watch every one that I can.

Except for tonight.

I didn't get very much sleep last night so I expect that I won't be staying awake to watch a 10:00 game.

It's Opening Day!

As far as I'm concerned, this should be a national holiday.

After work, we ran some errands and grabbed some D'Angelos subs for dinner.

Now I am in my sweats on my couch, listening to the worst announcers in all of baseball, Alex Rodriguez, Jessica Mendoza and Matt Vasgersian of ESPN. I hate listening to those guys.

As I type this, it's the start of the second inning and the Red Sox are up 1-0.

I could use three quarters of a billion dollars...

I bought a Powerball ticket on my way home today. I don't expect to win because, well, I have no luck, but I figured tossing $2.00 out the window on a chance to win $750 million was a pretty good investment

Besides, if I win, I'll be able to take care of all the people and places that have meaning to me. I'll also be able to take care of me.

It is, after all, all about me...

Tomorrow at 7:00 pm, the Red Sox start their season.

Just wanted to let you know that.
