Holy crap! They won!

I would love to have been in the Bruins locker room during the second intermission because whatever the coach said to them sure got them fired up.

They came out in the 3^rd period and scored 3 unanswered goals. Regulation ended with a 3-3 tie.

Neither team scored during the 3-on-3 sudden death period so they went to a shootout. The Bruins managed to put 2 out of 3 pucks into the net while the Blue Jackets only put 1 in. That gave the Bruins a 4-3 win and 2 points.

That means they remain in the first wildcard slot and they are 4 points ahead of the Blue Jackets who are in the second wildcard slot. With only 8 games left in the regular season, it's a pretty good bet they will make the playoffs.

Their next game is tomorrow when they take on the Stars. Puck drops at 7:00.

The Red Sox take on the Astros this evening and Ranger Suarez is making his first appearance in a Red Sox uniform.

They have kind of hyped him up a little bit so I'm hoping he does well in his first outing.
