Not much to say

We started our day meeting with our finance guy and it appears we can remain retired if we are so inclined.

For the record, we are so inclined...

Then we made a Costco run so we could stock up on some of life's little necessities. You know, like the rotisserie chicken, the peach & cream pastry and that one necessity that I personally can never live without, cinnamon rasin bread.

Man's got to have his cinnamon raisin toast...

The Red Sox lost to the Yankees 1-0 this afternoon but, man, what a hell of a game.

Connelly Early face 19 batters over 5 great innings. He struck out 7, walked 2 and gave up zero runs. It's a damned shame that kid is probably going to be in Worcester to start his season next week because he's a major league pitcher if ever I saw one.

Next game for the Red Sox is tomorrow against the Twins but NESN will not be carrying that game. Thankfully WEEI AM streams over the internet so I can at least listen to the game.

The Bruins lost in OT last night.

Again...

Here's what I don't understand about the standings. The Bruins and the Red Wings have the same number of points and the same win percentage but the Bruins are listed as being in the first wildcard slot now.

Their next game is tomorrow against the Jets. Puck drops at 7:00pm
