The Bruins blew it.

The Bruins were up 3-1 over the Canucks last night and they couldn't hold them off. Swayman did his best but the Bruins defense was a seive, letting the Canucks take 22 shots at the net. Offense wasn't much better, taking 42 shots at the Canucks net and only scoring 4 times.

Regulation ended in a 4-4 tie. The 3-on-3 sudden-death overtime period also ended in a 4-4 tie. It was the shootout that the Canucks won and the game ended with the Bruins losing 5-4

They picked up the one point for the regulation tie but that didn't get them back into a playoff spot.

They are back at it again tonight, facing off against the Senators. Puck drops at 7:00pm and a win would be a good thing.

The Patriots are in Baltimore to play the Ravens tonight and a win will secure a playoff spot for them.

Their injury report for tonight has six players on it with only one listed as out. The other five are either questionable or unknown. Hopefully that means they will field both a strong defensive line and a strong offensive line.

The Ravens are a .500 team so they have their weaknesses but they are no slouch. Tonights game is not a guarantee for the Patriots but it's nice to see that almost every so-called "expert" is predicting a Patriots win.

I italisized the word almost in the previous sentence because some of the so-called "experts" are saying the Ravens will win simply because if they don't win, they'll drop below .500

Kickoff is at 8:20 so my watching time will be pretty limited.

I'm pretty sure this article is saying gun control doesn't work and in my opinion, it isn't wrong.

Controlling guns does nothing if you are not controlling the nutcases that use guns to kill people. Nutcases don't care what weapon they use.

We need to stop looking at people with mental health issues as people with a cureable disease and start looking at people with mental issues as people with mental issues. If it is determined that those mental issues involve an inability to recognize the difference between right and wrong, we need to control those people.

In my humble opinion, we need to categorize those people as criminally insane, like we did prior to the 80s. Not knowing the difference between right and wrong is why we have these mass murders, not because of guns.
