The Astros tied it up

The Astros beat the Phillies 5-0 last night, tying the series 2-2.

They play again tonight at 8:00.

The Bruins are in New York to play the Rangers tonight. Puck drops at 7:30.

The Vet has a new roof

One of the things my daughter knew when she bought her house was that it neede a new roof. Well, today was the day.

Since she had to work today, I spent my day at her house documenting the progress.

The Bruins won last night in OT.

When I went to bed at the end of the second period, the Penguins were up 5-3 and the Bruins weren't playing their best.

Apparently the coach, Montgomery, kicked some butt between the second and third period because it looks like the Bruins came out and decided to play better. They won the game 6-5.

Next game is tomorrow against the Rangers. Puck drops at 7:30.

The Phillies won last night, taking a 2-1 lead in the series against the Astros.

I'm not sure how much of tonights game I'll watch. I'm hoping for at least three innings but I notice that FOX likes to take a lot of commercial breaks between batters. That slows the game down a lot.

No baseball last night

It was raining in Philaelphia last night so they postponed the game.

The rescheduled game will be played this evening at 8:00 and, according to the weather dweebs at The Weather Channel, tonights weather in Philadelphia is predicted to be:

I don't know how many innings I will see but I can assure you that I will watch at least one.

Yesterday's Halloween festivities went well and we had around 20-30 costumed children, three non-costumed teenagers and one dog.

The kids were all excited, the teenagers were polite and the dog was happy to get a biscuit to munch on.

Yes, I gave the dog a Halloween treat.

Personally, I think all dogs should be allowed to trick-or-treat.

And since we purchased our candy from Costco, I can assure you that we still have lot of it left. That is fine with me because, well, I like candy.

The neighbor kids tell me that they will be dressed as "a sheriff" and "a cat". I suspect they informed of that so I would know who they were and give them extra candy.

The Astros are in Philadelphia for three games against the Phillies. The series is currently tied 1-1 and I have a feeling the Astros will win at least two of those games in Philadelphia.

The series is tied

The Astros did good last night, beating the Phillies 5-2. No, I did not stay awake to see all of the game. As a matter of fact, I only made it to the 5^th inning before I decided I should go to bed and not fall asleep on my couch.

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with my couch. It's very comfortable and I've been known to take the occasional nap on it. But when it comes time to go to sleep for the night, I chose my bed over my couch.

The Patriots beat the Jets 22-17 this afternoon, giving them a .500 (4wins, 4 losses) record.

I didn't watch the game because today was The Vet's birthday and we had a family gathering to celebrate. I did watch the highlights and I saw that Jones played all four quarters.

Next game is against the Colts on Sunday @ 1:00.

Remember the other day when I said I wanted to remind you that Trump is friends with that racist piece of shit? Well today I want to remind you that Trump said we should look into injecting poison into people to cure covid.
