The kid from Worcester, Hunter Dobbins, did a great job on the mound. He faced 23 batters over six innings, striking out six and giving up one earned run.
He's back in Worcester now that Liam Hendricks has been activated and is back on the roster.
I'm hoping to see Hendricks pitch today but that is up to Cora.
As for Dobbins, I'm sure he'll be back up in Boston this season. Injuries happen all the time.
Today's game started at 4:05 and as of right now (5:20pm), it's 0-0 in the fifth inning.
You would think the Red Sox would be leading because the White Sox pitcher has hit three Red Sox batters and put them on base.
It seems to me that the news media loves talking about four things:
- Karen Reed trial
- Abrego Garcia deportation
- The Menendez brothers
- Anti-Trump protestors
I would like them to stop talking about those first three things and find something else to talk about because I don't really care about any of them.
As for the fourth item on the list, we elect our presidents by a system known as "voting". Protesting against them does nothing.
If we didn't want Trump in office, maybe we should have voted for someone else. It's not like he was unopposed...
