They won last night, beating the Braves 7-6. Unfortunately, they lost 10-4 this afternoon.
As things stand right now, they are "tied" for second place in the ALEast, 4½ games behind the Aaron Judges.
Today's loss was bad. Very bad. Not only did the batters not move the runners along, Bello had a bad outing. It started when his first pitch was hit for a double and it went downhill from there.
The only highlight, and the Red Sox only runs, was Devers hitting a grand slam.
The red hot Mets come into town tomorrow. Dobbins has the start and the first pitch will be at 6:45pm.
As I said right before their series against Tigers, I'm hoping they don't get swept...
