This is what my backyard looked like last August and this is what my backyard looks like today:
All that grass seed I put down last August germinated and all the rain we've had this spring has caused it to fill in nicely.
Yes, there are some spots that are still a little bare but I'll seed it again this August to get it to fill in.
And since I now have a sprinkler system, I don't have to drag hoses and sprinklers around this time.
When I went to bed last night, the Red Sox and Royals were tied 0-0 after nine innings. When I woke up this morning, I found the Red Sox had lost 2-1 after 12 innings.
Guess it's back to .500 for the Red Sox.
Game two of the three-game series is tonight. First pitch is at 7:10 and Crochet has the start.
