Both teams scored 2 in the first inning and it remained a 2-2 tie until the fifth inning when the Orioles scored 3 quick runs to take a 5-2 lead.
The Red Sox answered back with 1 run in the fifth and two more in the sixth to tie the game 5-5.
It stayed tied 5-5 through the tenth when Devers hit a base hit to drive in Rafaela to win the game 6-5.
Giolito has the start for game 2 of the double-header. First pitch is at 6:45.
In other Red Sox news, it looks like Alex Bregman has suffered a "significant quad injury".
This is bad for the Red Sox.
Because Bregman is now on the DL, the Red Sox have called up Marcelo Mayer.
This is good for the Red Sox.
Baseball is a game of good and bad. All you can hope for is there is more good than bad.
Guess who is no longer under a drought or even dry conditions!
I'm going to take an extra long shower...
