This afternoon, they went and got their asses kicked by the Judges, losing 16-1.
Yes, you read that correctly, they lost 16-1.
They are now 4 games behind the Judges and 8 games behind the Rays
They are on their way back to Boston where tomorrow they will start a 3-game series against the Mariners.
Today we dethatched and mowed the lawn. Man, I pulled a lot of crap out of that lawn with that tow-behind dethatcher thing.
My wife did the edges and around the trees with the push mower ao we were able to get the entire lawn done in less than 2 hours which isn't bad considering I have to stop every row to empty the bag of all the dead grass the dethatcher ripped out.
After that, I watched the Red Sox get massacred.
That means I did not spend a lot of time surfing the interwebs for news.
Here are a some links:
- The Patriots first game is in 10 days.
- Apparently the US still has some munitions.
- Key line in this story: "One official summed up the Hegseth approach as: 'Bombs away!'"
- Seems to be a lot of floods lately.
