So it begins

The MLB playoffs started today at 2:00pm when the Braves beat the Phillies 5-3.

The 2^nd game started at 5:00pm when the White Sox took on the Astros. As of right now, the score is 1-0 in favor of the White Sox.

The 3^rd game is scheduled for 8:00pm between the Red Sox and the Yankees.

Finaly, the 4^th game is scheduled for 10:00pm when the Cubs take on the Padres.

Here is my complaint: Why didn't they schedule the White Sox / Astros game, which will be played in the central time zone, for 8:00pm (7:00pm their time) and schedule the Red Sox / Yankees game, in the eastern time zone, for 5:00pm?

In hockey news, the Bruins take on the Rangers this evening. Puck drops at 8:00pm.

Scheduling hockey opening night at the same time as the start of the baseball playoffs is just plain stupid.
