This means that the Red Sox are now only one game under .500 and only 2 1/2 games behind the Yankees in the AL East. They have one more game against the Blue jays before they return to Boston to play the Rays.
It also means that the Bruins now get to face the Canadians in round two of the Stanley Cup. It's always interesting when Boston plays Montreal.
