Looks like we are getting a new driveway soon.

Over the last few years, our driveway has been slowly dragged into the depths of hell. There is what I can only classify as a "sinkhole" forming in the middle of the driveway. I figure it's either because the contractor who built the house buried some tree stumps there and they finally rotted out or Armageddon has begun and Satan is trying to make his grand entrance.

I'm hoping it's the buried stump thing and not the gates of hell thing but either way, we need to get it fixed and repave the driveway.

My offspring and family will be glad to learn that we are having a standard sized driveway put in instead of the extra narrow driveway the previous owner had installed. That means that next winter, you won't have to step out of your car into a snowbank.

We are also having a parking area added to the side so that we don't have to play the 6:30am vehicle shuffle game every morning when the kids are home.
