Why is it that when a government official comes up with an idea that might save thousands and thousands of dollars, someone comes along and makes bullshit accusations.
Chris Christie is not the cause of the decline of print newspapers, the internet is the cause of the decline in print newspapers. No one buys the paper anymore because there are a great many other sources of news. Not only that, it's becoming incredibly clear that most newspapers are terribly biased and manipulate the news to suit their particular goals.
If the newspaper industry would like to survive, they should start writing news stories and stop writing op-ed pieces.
