The Bruins were down 2-0 through two and a half periods when, with 11 minutes left in the game, Pastrnak put one in the net. This was followed 5 minutes later when Lohrei slipped on in and finally, with 3 minutes left in the game, Zacha dropped the third one past the Panthers goalie.
This made the score 3-2 and all they had to do was hold off the Panthers for 2 minutes, which they did.
I was pleasantly shocked by the win because in all honesty, I was ready to turn the game off during the second intermission.
I'm glad I didn't...
So now they are only 2 points out of the wildcard.
Oh, and according to the talking heads on NESN, they have one of the easiest schedules in the NHL over the remainder of the season. I believe the wizards of the mundane said something to the effect of "The 25th easiest schedule" or something like that.
I'm not sure what that means exactly but since they only have 16 games left in the season, I hope it means they should win more than 8 of them.
Trump decided to put the full weight and authority of the Executive Branch of the Federal Government behind his favorite sycophant's car company. Trump says the car is so good, he bought one.
I bet a dollar he didn't buy it. I bet the taxpayers (you and me) bought it. Also, I can't help but wonder if this is unethical behavior on the part of the president...
My grill has been moved onto my patio and there are two steaks marinating in the fridge.
I'm going to go cook those steaks and then I'm going to watch some baseball.
