The Bruins lost, dammit...

If the Bruins had won this afternoon, they would have clinched a playoff spot. As it stands, that loss pushed them down to the second wildcard slot.

Maybe they lost because I didn't watch the game and I was not available to give them such inciteful admonitions like, "Shoot the godamned puck at the godamned net, godammit!" or that old standard, "What the hell was that! Jeeezus christ, my crippled grandmother could pass better than that!"

As for the Red Sox, they lost last night and as of this morning, they were back in last place in the MLB.

The Red Sox & the Cardinals are back at it again this evening and a Red Sox win would be nice. They need to get their confidence back.

My wife continues to clean out her gardens, I thatched my lawn and the sprinkler guy has opened up my irrigation system.

All that's left to do is change the oil in all my machines. Once that is done, we will be ready for summer.

FYI: A gallon of gasoline is still below $4.00 near me.

I expect that will change in the next few days and by "change", I don't mean it will go lower...
