I don't want to say that Bello sucked but I will say, "Bello was really [insert very bad word] awful! He gave up three home runs in the first inning. Then he gave up two more home runs in the third and fourth innings."
At one point, Cora went out to the mound and I thought maybe he was going to pull Bello. I was wrong. He didn't walk out to the mound to take Bello out of the game, he apparently just wanted to chit-chat. A few minutes after that, my son and I had the following text exchange:
My son is a funny guy.
With last night's 10-3 loss to the Orioles, they were once again tied for last place in the American League:
Today's baseball game was supposed to be played at 4:05 but the weather in Baltimore was predicted to be pretty bad so they decided to move the start time to 12:05.
Crochet had the start and he was, to use an old phrase, lights out good. He faced 22 batters over 6 innings, giving up 3 hits, walking 2 and striking out 7 while allowing 0 runs.
But the big change in the Red Sox was the offense. The batters hit the ball and got on base. More importantly, they drove in runs.
Lots of runs.
When the game ended, the score was 17-1 in favor of the Red Sox and they moved up in the standings to second-to-last place. If the Royals win tonight, the Red Sox will again be tied for last place but it will be a three-way tie.
The funny thing about math is that it is what it is. It is not something that is based on a particular time or a certain place and it certainly isn't opinion.
Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division work the same for all of us no matter where we are or who we are and it has been that way since the the first proto-human realized that if he had one bug and he caught another bug, he would have two bugs.
Yes sir, the one thing we can all rely on is that no matter what the situation, 2+2=4, 6-3=3, 10*10=100 and 32÷4=8.
Those formulas, along with every other math formula, are the same for all of us.
I think we can all agree that if someone says 2+2=5, they are either be a moron or a lying sack of shit.
I'm just going to put this out there and let you decide if Dementia Donny and Brainworm Bobby are morons or lying sacks of shit:
And that is not some fake, made-up meme, the guy actually said that. Out loud. In front of people. While under oath.
If you really want to go on a rollercoaster ride, you should read Bobby's Wikipedia page. It's a riot.
The last line in the paragraph highlighting his efforts to have the Indian Point nuclear power plant shut down is:
-
In 2022, after the plant's closure, carbon emissions from electricity generation in New York state increased by 37%, compared to 2019, before the start of the closure.
In closing, let me remind you that these people are running our government...
Here are some links:
- Trump really likes saying he has all the cards.
- This is going to go well.
- This could very well be the worst idea ever.
- They are really working on building that offensive line.
