They need to celebrate

This is a short text exchange I had with my youngest this morning:

As you can see, I have put forth a theory and he has agreed with my theory.

We are sympatico.

So in keeping with my theory, if the Red Sox would come up with a celebration for getting on base or hitting home runs or, at the very least, start using the celebrations from last season, they might start winning some games.

Yes, they are only 6 games into a 162 game season and there is plenty of time for them to rise to the top of the standings but right now, it's kinda embarrassing:

And what's more embarrassing is that they are tied with the White Sox and the Athletics for last place in the MLB.

There is no game tonight as the Red Sox are flying home to Boston. Tomorrow they have their home opener against the Padres. First pitch is at 2:10 and the weather dweebs are predicting that it will be mostly cloudy and in the mid-50s.

In other words, not the best weather for baseball but not a rain or snow game either.

I wonder what Bruce Springsteen did to piss-off The Very Stable Genius...

The Bruins are in Florida tonight to take on the Panthers.

The Bruins have had problems with the Panthers this season, losing both of the games they have played. I'm hoping tonight is the night they turn that around and get the win.

Puck drops at 7:00.
