It's getting harder and harder to watch.
Time for an old man rant...
When I was a little kid, we would walk to Norman's Pharmacy on Island Pond Rd. and for 15 or 20 cents, we would buy a Guillows "JetFire" Glider. If we were flush with cash, we would spend 50 cents and buy the rubber-band powered "SkyStreak".
I discovered today that Guillows is still in business.
I discovered today that Guillows charges $5.00 for the JetFire and $7.00 for the SkyStreak.
Are you shitting me!! These are cheap balsa wood airplanes with a lifespan of about 15 or 20 minutes.
