So much for the streak

The Red Sox started off okay last night and the game was tied 3-3 though 5 innings. Then, in the 6^th inning, Bennett lost it and gave up a run so Tracy pulled him and put Weissert in. Weissert immediately gave up another run, giving the Rays a 5-3 lead.

In the end, the Red Sox lost 8-4 to the Rays.

They are back at it again tonight. Early has the start and first pitch is at 7:10.

The local AHL hockey team, the Springfield Thunderbirds, has made it to the Atlantic Division finals. They will start the best-of-5 series this Tuesday in Scranton, PA when they take on the Penguins.

If they make it through the divisionals, they will play the best-of-7 Eastern Conference finals.
