Good win

The Red Sox beat the Tigers 10-3 last night and there were some fireworks in the game.

The Tiger's pitcher seemed to get a little upset that the Red Sox were hitting home runs off him. I guess he wanted to let the Red Sox know he was unhappy and the best way he could do that was to hit Story in the back with a 94mph fast ball.

For those of you that have never been hit by a baseball, I can tell you it hurts. A lot. And the few times I got hit, it was thrown by some kid who was probably topping out at about 60mph. I can't imagine what 94mph feels like.

So anyways, that resulted in both teams running out onto the field to hold an in-depth discussion about the incident. Fortunately, that was about as far as it got. No fists were thrown and both teams managed to get back into their dugouts without anything more than some bad words being exchanged.

The umpires decided that the pitcher was a bad boy so they ejected him from the game. This afternoon, MLB decided he needed a bit of punishment so they suspended him for six games and fined him some unknown amount.

They are back it again this evening. First pitch was at 6:40pm and it is currently 0-0 in the 2nd inning. I'm assuming all the players will remain in their dugouts when they are not actually playing.
