Looking for that silver lining

Looking at the league standings, there is one good thing I can say about the Red Sox - They aren't the Angels...

Unfortunately, they are in sole possession of last place in the ALEast:

Tonight they take on the team with the best record in Major League Baseball, the Atlanta Braves. Suarez has the start and first pitch is at 6:45pm.

I don't have much hope they will win.

Okay, maybe I have a little hope. I mean, what the hell. I'm a Red Sox fan from the 1960's. I'm used to them sucking.

No new news.

Ukraine and Russia are still blowing each other up.

Iran and the US are still blowing each other up.

Israel is still blowing everybody up.

It's just a blowing up fest.

This may be the perfect evening to move a tv out onto the porch and watch the Red Sox outdoors.

The again, maybe I'll just sit on my couch and watch the game.

I woke up at 4:00 this morning because of a bird sitting in a tree right outside one of the bedroom windows. It was a happy bird, singing a happy tune in a loud & happy voice and I was not happy.

I came very close to throwing something out the window at the tree.

I suspect I will not be staying awake for the entire game and I'd rather fall asleep on my couch than in a patio chair.
