Early did not have a good outing but then again, the batters did not have a good outing either.
This afternoon's game was no better but it took them 10 innings to lose instead of just the usual 9 innings.
The Astros beat them 3-1 in the 10th, winning the series and sending the Red Sox back into last place in the American League.
Suarez was pitching very well but when he finished the 4th inning, he left the game with some kind of hamstring issue.
It's getting harder and harder to watch them play baseball simply because there seems to be no reason for them to play as bad as they are. I will, of course, continue to watch them, I'll just yell louder and use many more very bad words.
Tomorrow they start a 3-game series in Detroit against the Tigers. First pitch is at 6:40 and Tolle is scheduled to start.
