It's a full house

All three of our offspring are home with us for the weekend. The eldest will return to complete his studies tomorrow but the other two are here for the week. That means we actually had to go grocery shopping.

My wife and I have been surviving quite nicely on a couple of pounds of coffee, a half gallon of milk, some hot dogs and dining out. Our children, however, still want to graze all day long and since we are good parents, we spent millions of dollars at Costco (at least that's the way it seemed at the time) on Thursday and conducted a followup trip to Stop & Shop to pick up those items that Costco doesn't carry on Friday.

Now we have enough food in our house to feed the population of a small Caribbean nation.
