Daisuke Matsuzaka is now a New York Met.

I have no idea how much the Mets are going to pay him to pitch for them in the minor leagues but whatever it is, it will probably be too much. The man hasn't pitched a good game for the last three or four years.

And that is why I'm happy the Red Sox didn't make any real offer on that Tanaka kid. You never know what you're gonna get from a Japanese pitcher who is suddenly thrust into the spotlight of the MLB.
