Nice win

The Red Sox evened the series 1-1 last night by beating the Rays 3-1. They still remain in 4th place in the ALEast but hopes are high that the youngsters are beginning to make their presence known on the diamond.

And speaking of the youngsters, Roman Anthony's family was on hand for last nights game. His mother, his father, his brother and of course, his sister...
Apparently the NESN camera guys pointed their cameras at her almost as much as they pointed them at Roman.

So anyways, Buehler has the mound for tonight's game. First pitch is at 7:10

Pat has requested that I not say anything negative about today's golf game so I will honor that request.

The first hole is a 150 yard par 3 over water.
All three of us opted to lay up short of the water at about 50 feet.

Due to the poor drainage where our shots landed, one of us took a mulligan which went well left of the green and two of us opted to drop on the hole-side of the pond, leaving each us with a 75 yard chip up to the green.

Two of us opted to lay up short of the green while the third choose an entirely different approach and flew to the left of the green over near the second tee box.

I will let you guess how many more strokes were required to get all three golf ball onto the green. I will tell you that after putting out, we all announced "Par!" and walked off to the second tee box, giggling like little boys that had just pulled a fast one on the teacher.

And that, my friends, is how the entire round of golf went - lots of laughing and and excessive amount of ball stiking. Once again, fun was had by all and we decided we're going to it again.

Oh, and sorry Pat. I tried to be positive but it was hard.

The last Wilson brother died today.

The Beach Boys were an iconic group that produced fun music. They stayed away from deep or controversial bullshit and simply entertained us.

I know the words to almost every one of their songs.
