They won another series

The Red Sox beat the Rays 4-3 last night, winning the series. They remain in fourth place in the ALEast

Buehler tossed a good game once he got through the first inning. That particular inning wasn't one of his best...

They are off tonight and tomorrow they welcome the Judges into town to start a three-game series.

Hopefully they win that series as well.

The media is going to make a big deal out of this but the bottom line, if you are dressed in casual clothes, have no press credentials and are yelling questions like a protestor at a press conference, you kinda deserve to get hustled out of there and cuffed.

Do I think the cops overreacted? No, I do not. They had no idea who he was or what his intentions were.

Tensions are high right now and it would have been smarter of the senator to stay in Washington DC and asked his questions from the floor of the Senate chambers.

For what it's worth, take it easy on the pike and on 91.

We ran some errands today that took us on pike for a distance of about 9 miles and on 91 for another mile. In that 10 mile drive, I saw no less than five state troopers running radar on the sides of the road. I also at two more troopers that had vehicles pulled over.

I guess what I'm saying is stay below 70 mph on those roads because in Massachusetts, the fine for speeding is $50 for up to 10 mph over the speed limit.

Anything over that 10 mph over the speed limit tacks on an additional $10 for each mph. They then tack an additional $50 on for what they are calling the "head injury fund".

In other words, if you are going 80 on the pike, you will be fined $50, plus an additional $50 for the mph between 75 & 80 and then they will tack on that additional $50 for the head fund.

I don't know about you but in my world, $150.00 is a pretty hefty fine to pay just to get to the mall 5 minutes earlier...
