Today, the Red Sox lost to the Blue Jays 5-3.
With their loss of the first game, today's loss means the Red Sox lost the series.
Yesterday, Giolito was great and the hitters were hitting the ball.
Today, Buehler was "meh" until the fourth inning when he went into full suck mode and lost track of the strike zone. The hitters got some hits but nothing that drove runs across the plate. As a matter of fact, there was more than one inning that ended with a runner standing on third.
It might be time for the Red Sox to reconsider Buehler's role as a starting pitcher. Unfortunately, they might not have anyone to replace him.
Not much else going on today so here are some links:
- I'm not normally a fan of the "Over The Monster" articles but this one kinda sums up how I feel about NESN ever since they fired Don Orsillo.
- I am of the opinion that if this guy wins, it'll be the 1970s all over again. He'll bankrupt New York City and this time, the federal government won't bail them out
- The man is 99 years old. He deserves a day off every so often.
- We have way too many people doing "gods work", whatever the hell that is...
- For the record, 13 centimeters is a bit over 5 inches.
