Broke another one.

 

I broke another toe last night. My daughter says that I should start wearing shoes.

The Red Sox are still in last place in the AL East but they are slowly making their way up the ladder. As of today, they are tied with the Tigers in eighth place in the American League. That puts them ahead of the White Sox, the Angels, the Royals, the Mariners and the Twins.

Tonight starts an interesting three game series in Philadelphia against the Phillies.

I always like to watch interleague games because you get to see the pitcher bat. When American League pitchers bat, it's funny to watch. They all look like little kids at the plate.

Tonight it will be Daniel Bard who will step up to bat.

Good luck there, Daniel! When you step up to the plate and look at Cole "I hit him in the spine with a 95mph fastball to welcome him to the big leagues" Hamels, remember, spin away from the incoming fast ball, not towards it.
