Cancer is a terrible thing.

A friend of mine named Rich was diagnosed with leukemia a month ago and has been undergoing a tough regimen of chemotherapy. Turns out that the chemo has lowered his blood pressure to the point where he almost died. He was rushed to the hospital last week and has been there ever since.

Myself and another friend went down to visit with him for a bit today. He's been in the critical care facility for the last 8 days and today they are moving him to a regular room, or as I like to call it, "Gen Pop".

Suffice to say that Rich is not a spry young man and this disease is taking it's toll on him.

Those of you that know me know that I hate cancer with a passion and I am fully aware of how difficult it is to go through the treatment. I'm hoping that Rich fairs well and in another two or three weeks, we'll go see him at his house where he'll be more than happy to entertain us for more than 20 minutes.
