Tonight is the NL Wildcard game between the Diamondbacks and the Rockies. I'm kind of hoping the Diamondbacks win because of their coach, Torey Lovullo. He was the Red Sox bench coach that took over when Farrell was diagnosed with cancer and out for treatment.
I like Lovullo and I think he deserves a shot at the World Series.
As for the Red Sox, they play they are currently in Houston and tomorrow they start their 5 game series against the Astros. The game starts at 4:00 so I'll have to watch some of it using GameDay.

According to Google, the distance from the base of the Mandalay Bay tower to the center of the concert venue is 1200 feet. That's 400 yards.
This guy managed to fire a .223 (5.56) over 400 yards into an enclosed arena and hit more than 500 people, killing 59 of them.
In his warped mind, he probably didn't even think of them as people. He probably thought of them like bugs or something. He had no idea who he was shooting or where he was hitting them. He hit people in the head, the back, the side, the arms, the legs,
This means that of the 400 plus injured, some number of them are now permanently maimed.
This was one sick son of a bitch.
