It's tropical hot out there.

I spent about 15 minutes scraping some paint off my front porch railing this morning and man, it was hot in that sun. I think I'll wait until this evening when the sun is behind the house to paint it.

I'm a little concerned that if I paint it this afternoon, the paint will boil....

So I found this little creature dead on my driveway the other day...

He (or she) had a wingspan of about 3 inches and a body that was just as long.

Sure glad I didn't step on it...
