I certainly hope none of you fine law-abiding folks went and acquired any of those things they call fireworks because those fireworks things are illegal in Massachusetts. They're illegal because the people of Massachusetts are too stupid to know how to use them safely.

If you want to use fireworks, you need to find someone from either Connecticut or New Hampshire because those people are apparently smart enough to know how to use fireworks.

We're just simple idiots down here in Massachusetts. Thanks goodness we have a government here to look after us, oversee our safety and protect us from ourselves.
