It was a nice day off.

As John is aware, I took today off. Not the nicest day to take off because all it did was rain all day but hey, a bad day off is always better than a good day in the office.

Took The Dog to the vets for a checkup on his recent surgery. The Doc says that all is good and it's time for The Dog to start working a little harder.

That means that instead of walking 1/4 mile, we'll start to stretch it out and get ourselves back to walking around the block. Eventually, we'll get back to walking through the entire neighborhood....

...just in time for winter to settle in and freeze our butts off.
