The more I learn, the more I don't understand why we do not have the death penalty.
I understand that some people think the death penalty is not a deterrent but I don't understand why it needs to be a deterrent. Can't it just be a penalty? Can't we just remove these evil people from our species so they won't ever be a problem again?
