They lost last night

The Red Sox got their butts whooped by the Blue Jays last night but since the Yankees lost to the Indians, the Red Sox held on to their three and a half game lead in the ALEast.

Today was a different story. They managed to beat the Blue Jays but it took them ten innings.

Oh, and they didn't just beat them in ten innings. They beat them in the finest style when Xander Bogaerts hit a grand slam walk-off home run.

Not a bad way to end the game

Now all we have to do is hope that the Indians can beat the Yankees again tonight and all will be well.

Tomorrow will the last game for everyone before they all get five days off.

Well, everyone except the guys selected to play in the All Star game. They only get three days off.

My lawn is mowed and the trimmed up nicely. We are in the midst of a not-quite-a-drought-but-a-bit-more-than-a-dry-spell, so the grass isn't growing a lot. That means mowing is quick and painless.

And dusty.

Very, very dusty.

Since FOX is carrying the Yankees/Indians game tonight, I'll probably watch a little bit of that before getting bored with it and nodding off.
