The Red Sox won last night and the Yankees managed to lose. Not only did they lose, they also lost Gary Sanchez, their lead catcher. He's out on the 10 day DL trying to unstrain his groin.
If this keeps going the way it's going, the Red Sox will go into August with a nice little lead in the ALEast.

My daughter's guest has returned to Iowa and our house is back to normal.
Well, as normal as it can be with the Large Main Dog and the Small Emergency Backup Dog wandering around, barking and farting.

I'm gonna watch some baseball and figure out what I'm going to be doing tomorrow on my day off.
