Eight and a half games

The Red Sox have taken three of the four game series with one more to play tomorrow and they now lead the Yankees by eight and a half games.

This is a great thing and I'm hoping it gets better tomorrow but the scheduled pitcher is Price and historically, the Yankees own him. He just can't seem to strike them out.

Hopefully he has a good day tomorrow and turns things around.

As for the rest of the team, they have some injuries that are affecting them but they are absolutely playing some great baseball. Hopefully one or two guys are coming off the DL soon because they still got a lot of baseball left to play and I'm a firm believer in Alex Cora with his rotating days off for everyone.

That gives all of them some much-needed rest as they head towards October and the playoffs.


So now that baseball is over for the day, I've got to find something else to watch. Hopefully I have some DVRs because there isn't much on on a Saturday night.
