Ten and a half games is better than ten.

I've avoided this subject but I just can't ignore it anymore.
Another Mass State Trooper has been charged with, and pled guilty to, fraud. He is accused of stealing $11,000 by filing for hours he never actually worked.
This makes six troopers charged and another 34 under scrutiny because they all managed to file for hours they never worked.
The MSP has always been an organization that was proud of it's heritage and it's professionalism. The troopers behaved with integrity and a certain esprit de corps.
Now, they are a tainted organization. People are asking where were the bosses while these guys were stealing from us? Why were these guys allowed to behave that way with no one saying anything? What kind of cop steals?
All that means that the remaining 90% of the department, the honest, hard-working cops that do their job with integrity every day, are now forced to work extra hard to overcome this stain.
I feel bad for those cops left to carry on and bear the burden they've been saddled with.
I do not feel bad for the ones that violated our trust and stained their comrades by committing crimes of such magnitude that Tony Soprano would be proud.
And that is all I have to say about that.

I'm going to try and watch all nine innings of this game.
Here are some links for you to enjoy while I do that:
- Only in Florida.
- Key phrase in this story about the newest member of the A-Team: "I know he's going to be sore."
- Oh Canada.
- She's a classy dame.
- I guess they take their Aretha Franklin movies very seriously down in Virginia.
