The lead is down to six games.

The Red Sox are off tonight but the Yankees are starting a three game series against the White Sox. I'm hoping the White Sox suddenly come to life and take all three games from the Yankees but I suspect that tomorrow morning I will find the Red Sox have a five and a half game lead.

Tomorrow the Red Sox will start a two game series against the Marlins and I'm hoping they win both games. That will at least give them a mental kick to hopefully break out of this slump they find themselves in.
